I promise, never again! I too was surprised at how little the trailers (for Serenity) actually spoiled, it was awesome. I am also greatly disappointed at its abysmal performance in the box office. Despite the advance screenings, viral marketing, my repeated viewings of its Apple.com trailer, and all the general internet hype (not to mention seeing it at least a day after most of my Firefly-fan friends), I was astounded that none of the major plot points had not been spoiled for me! I can’t begin to describe how refreshing – and surprising! – it was to see such an important (for me) film without being distracted by spoilers. And by the way, if you’re a Firefly fan, it’s a freakin’ fantastic movie; go see it – twice! If Joss Whedon isn’t already your master, I have no idea if you'll like it or not. I’ve tried, but I can’t objectively separate out that part of me. After all that bitching, I just went to see Serenity this weekend.
