Interesting. I'm glad my writing helped you out, Katie and Kaityn (also interesting). I can't say that I felt "weird" or "crazy" when I wrote this -- I was just trying to put my thoughts into words -- but now that you've both mentioned it, you've got me worried. Maybe it's just us! Maybe we're the crazy ones!

I'm just kidding. I doubt most people examine their emotions to this degree. If they did, we'd have heard more about "people like us."

wow, i know exactly how you feel, but i may be a little younger. im 14 years old and a jv cheerleader for my high school. i was recently tripped in my gym class and landed on my wrist. i already had a cyst on my wrist and it was really swollen and i was also worried that i fractured it. so after school that day, i went to the docter and got xrays. this would be the first of many times that ive had the chance to get them, being a cheerleader these days is real intense.(im being serious, not sarcastic) this actually happened just yesterday but any way when the docter reviewed my xrays, she noticed that still have growth plates so if it was fractured under the plate, then she was not able to see that. so she is sending my xrays to the hospital for a more experienced docter to review. in time, she said that i only sprained my wrist, now i was very greatful that i havent(as far as i know) fractured my wrist. but for the same odd reason, i kind of wanted to fracture it and get a cast.

Thanks for posting your story. now i feel that im not the only weird person in the world. haha

Sometimes, I feel a little sad I'm not more sick than I am too. Like when my doctor said I had just a cold instead of strep throught. I mean I really didn't want strep. I just wanted to be able to tell my friends I was out for a week with strep and stuff. I thought I was crazy. Thanks for letting me know I'm not as crazy as I thought I was.
