I hope he posts something!" And, not to be let down, here it is. My heart goes out to you about the JE side of things... I haven't had the best luck with them (though mostly related to the Spotted side of things). If I had thought of it, I would suggested that you contact Capital City Weekly with your shot (and even your write up) to see if they were looking for materials. They have been great about paying for photos used in their publication. Many times, they are space constrained, but it's nice to make a few bucks to have something printed. I would love to have you follow up on the suggestion from your other photographer friend... As they didn't respond your clear request for them to contact you prior to use, it might just work. If nothing more, lesson learned about Juneau Empire!
